I have been trying to figure the details of this for a while now. Oh well, that’s what I get for being Katakana challenged. Megumi finally posted a link, so here we go!
Meetan will be appearing in a play next month. It is called 上海J’TRIANGLE (Shanghai J’TRIANGLE) and will be performed mid-July in Roppongi. I’m not sure what part Meetan will be playing, but from what I can see of the plot it is a period piece. It takes place on a cruise ship bound for Shanghai during the Chinese Civil War. There is some sort of “love triangle”, although I don’t think Meetan is playing one of those parts. My guess is she will have something to do with the Jazz theme that underscores the play. By the way, are any of you going to be in Tokyo next month? Here is a link to buy tickets!!!
Whatever part she plays, I am really excited for Ohori. And I know she is excited too! I’m sure she will do a wonderful job. And for those of you who get the chance to see the show…

Meetan’s appearance on Suppon no Onnatachi!
It is the show’s mission to gain exposure for SDN and help build the fanbase. The second episode’s mission? A photo spread in Weekly Playboy. So who better to appear in a sexy magazine spread than good ole’ Meetan.

After Chen fit her entire body in a small suitcase and Serina showed everyone her talent for drawing caricatures, it was time for Meetan’s sexy dance. If it were me I would already be calling the photographers. But just to make sure, the girls go in for the kill.

But I still say in the case of Harukyan, the loli is the aggressor. It is no surprise that Meetan spends so much time hanging out backstage during AKB shows. She needs her loli “fix”. Although when it comes to SDN, Ohori seems to have a favorite toy as well…
Meetan recently revealed that she “occasionally likes to indulge in eating meat. Occasionally? I don’t know about that. It seems like every other day she is showcasing a savory meal on her Ameba blog.
By the way, that one photo looks like she is about to eat a “Tommy-burger”. Anyone from Southern Cali will know exactly what I’m talking about. In all fairness, Meetan does take excellent care of her body inside and out. Sure she likes to indulge on occasion. But judging from what she writes, she is extremely conscientious. And she is always treating us to her latest health and beauty tips. To her credit, as much as she blogs about food I rarely see her mentioning unhealthy snacks.
With all of the different idol blogs I read, I can’t believe so many of these girls stay so thin. Half of the posts are about food! Meetan too!!! That said, some of my favorite Ohori posts are the entries that show some recipe she prepared. She is noted for her expertise in home economics, and it is widely known that she is an exceptional cook. Just another one of those traits that make her a good “catch”. (hehe)
As I have always said, Meetan should publish a book. Just include lots of sexy pics, okay?
SDN48 Senbatsu? Not to be left out of the fun, it was announced on SDN48’s new television program Suppon no Onnatachi that there will be a Senbatsu Election among SDN’s two teams…

Meetan spent this past weekend at Makuhari Messe in Chiba. She took part in AKB48’s Ponytail to Shushu handshake meeting. Wow, AKB48’s hs events are becoming huge if they have to rent out convention center space to hold them. It wasn’t too long ago that they held these things on the 8th floor of the Donki. By the way, for all of you “history revisionists” that like to say that AKB48’s single sales are an illusion, care to explain this? I didn’t think so…
Anyway, one of the cool things about this event…Many of the girls evidently appeared in casual attire for the handshakes. Meetan choosing to wear two completely different types of outfits. And per her official blog, she wants to know which one you prefer?

I really hope I get a chance to see a Team Xanadu futsal match the next time I head over to Tokyo. I always worry about Ohori’s legs when she participates in athletic activities. But we all know Meetan loves playing sports. And she is a dancer, which is one of the most strenuous sports around!
And I loved seeing this picture of Meetan with some of her supporters after a recent match. Some of the folks pictured there are part of our friend Hiro@USA’s crew that meets before and after SDN events. It was exciting to see some of my friends in Japan pictured with her!
What has it been? About six weeks since the last post? Suffice it to say I have really needed the time off. But I think I’m ready to re-commence the “Amai Meetan Project” Ohori has been busy with films, sports, appearances and of course her duties with SDN48.
Shortly after the announcement that Ohori had been recruited by Horipro it became clear what her decision would be. It was further announced that Meetan would be joining Team Xanadu, Horipro’s futsal team as a goalkeeper.
We all know Meetan is pretty good at basketball. She also has decent speed. But we also know that her thighs and knees tend to become tight and tender at times. That said, I’m actually relieved she will be in goal as opposed to being a striker. Just take care of that beautiful face Meetan!
Her first match takes place this weekend at the Shinjuku Sports Center. And I believe people that buy advance tickets get a comemmorative photo. (CK Wants!)
