What does it all mean????
We know have updated news on the vote. The Senbatsu election process will end September 4th, at which time we will know who our Senbatsu members are. SDN48 will be making their major debut on the Universal Music label. I’m not sure when exactly that will be, but I am seriously considering being there for it if my schedule permits.
I am also hoping this means a 1st Stage CD and DVD will be in the works. Wouldn’t that be awesome? CDs…and their new television program debuted this weekend. Things are really starting to come together for SDN48.

Meetan spent this past weekend at Makuhari Messe in Chiba. She took part in AKB48’s Ponytail to Shushu handshake meeting. Wow, AKB48’s hs events are becoming huge if they have to rent out convention center space to hold them. It wasn’t too long ago that they held these things on the 8th floor of the Donki. By the way, for all of you “history revisionists” that like to say that AKB48’s single sales are an illusion, care to explain this? I didn’t think so…
Anyway, one of the cool things about this event…Many of the girls evidently appeared in casual attire for the handshakes. Meetan choosing to wear two completely different types of outfits. And per her official blog, she wants to know which one you prefer?

I can just imagine the pandemonium that went on in the Ohori “camp” the other day when she casually inquired on her blog if anyone knew what the painful welts on her back might be.

Jeez, Megumi. Don’t scare us like that! The good news is it’s nothing a little topical cream can’t take care of. But according to Meetan there is still a problem. Since she lives alone, she has no one to rub the cream onto the affected area…
Over at AKB48’s official blog the girls are posting their New Year’s greetings to the fans. At first I wondered if the SDN girls would be included. Thankfully they are (at least the soon-to-be former AKB girls), and here is Ohori’s post…

Gum? On the theater floor!!! What kind of sloppy, inconsiderate…Seeing gum on the floor makes Meetan a sad idol!
Patrons should keep in mind that the girls do have cleaning duty at the theater. Meetan has demonstrated it on her blog (actually I think she showed Nachu cleaning up, LOL), and Sayaka has mentioned it as well. All 0f the girls in AKB48 are really proud of their theater, and want to show it off in the best way possible. The good news is most of the fans are extremely considerate, going as far as bringing garbage bags to birthday shows so the staff doesn’t have to deal with all of the glowsticks.
So lets keep the theater nice and tidy! After all, what would “Iron Eyes” Cody think?

With six members of AKB48 recently sidelined with the flu, including Kuramochi Asuka who is one of Meetan’s harem, I get worried when I see Megumi postoing pics on her blog with a box of Kleenex and tissues in her nose. It is widely known that Meetan loves to “swap spit” with the young and cute Mochi.
I hope Meetan is okay, we need her to be healthy for her birthday!
With the addition of 17 new members of the AKB48 family via SDN48. Meetan now has an entirely new harem of beautiful girls to play with. And she is wasting no time…
It’s funny, before I ever saw this post I commented on Chuo Dori how Serina and Hatakeyama were the two cute lollies in the new group. Lo and Behold, Meetan features them on her blog. And am I reading that right, did she say she wants to “eat” them? Wow, our girl is insatiable!
And then there’s Nachu, who apparently has become Meetan’s new lapdog. I am actually a little bit surprised by this. Then again…maybe not. It is Meetan after all.
Ironically, that is exactly what I do with MY Meetan poster!
No wonder the Team K girls are feeling so lonely lately. They’ve been thrown over for a bunch of cute SDN newbies. I wonder what Asuka thinks of all of this? Poor Mocchi!
